Changes take effect immediately. Accepted categories will start loading their scripts on your next page view; revoked categories stop loading right away.
Strictly necessary
Always onRequired to run the Service. Your past analyses and consent choices live in your browser's local storage. Cannot be turned off.
Analytics
Aggregated usage data to help us understand which parts of the Service are useful. No cross-site tracking.
Error tracking
Crash reports and stack traces to help fix bugs. Configured to strip personal data before sending.
Clear all data on this device
Use this if you want a clean slate — for example, before handing your device to someone else, or if you simply want to remove everything GlioWise has remembered. This is a hard local wipe; it does not contact our servers (nothing about your data lives there to begin with).
Clearing data removes your past scan analyses, your medication tracker entries, your symptom journal entries (mood, symptoms, and seizures), your pre-appointment prep details (next visit, provider, custom and dismissed questions), your beyond-treatment view (care-phase choice, surveillance rhythm, and late-effects log), and your consent and first-visit preferences. Once cleared, the data cannot be recovered.
What each category means
Strictly necessary covers the storage we need to run the Service at all — your past analyses, your consent preferences, and the minimal session data the hosting platform uses to deliver the page.
Analytics gives us aggregated usage data (pages viewed, approximate session duration, referrers) so we can understand what’s useful and what isn’t. We don’t build ad profiles and don’t share this data with third parties for marketing.
Error tracking helps us catch crashes. When an exception occurs, a sanitized report is sent (stack trace, browser version, the page URL) so we can fix the bug. We configure the error tracker to drop request bodies and other potentially sensitive content before transmission.
